poetry contribution by Relebogile Kgalane
my life weighs a ton
by Satan’s standards done
and those who speak of hope
to me, they’ve all smoked dope
the aspirations of life
gave me nothing but strife
as I kneel down to pray
my penis leads me astray
all my ideas of fun
they would my parents stun
veins in arm itch for a blade
to slit my wrists in a quiet galde
what life’s lies seek to smother
Is that Death loves me like a brother
